Keep Trying! Donโ€™t give up!

Okay so, Iโ€™ve been thinking about my past history with creating comics and I just wanted to show you guys how far Iโ€™ve come.

Before I even became a digital artist I was an all traditional artist. My mom has a canvas of a comic character painting I did back in college.

The first program that I used when I started going digital for my comics was from the how to draw manga computone books. After that I learned about Manga studio.

Granted I was still using a mouse and scanning the pages in to finish the text and tone but it was a career changing experience.

I dud have a lot of problems with Manga Studio but giving up shouldnโ€™t be an option just because something is hard or your not getting the results you want fast enough.

I remember a girl back In the day who would say she wanted to do comics and get better at drawing, do I would give her advice and do what I could to share with her the things that helped me and encourage her but she would wouldnโ€™t follow through and continued to stay negative and not put in the work, time or effort.

If you donโ€™t stick with something long enough then how do you know if it truly doesnโ€™t work? Had I thrown in the towel with Manga Studio I donโ€™t know where I would be right now because I canโ€™t see myself without the program.

I knew what the program was capable of and how much I could benefit from it so I didnโ€™t give up and kept trying. I even went on to buy the newer version, at that time, and kept pressing towards my goal.

Donโ€™t let a road block, learning curve or difficulty get in your way. If my goal, and my why matter enough to me then Iโ€™m not going to let anything get in my way of achieving my goal.

The same applies to my goal for a healthier lifestyle. If I find something that can help me reach my goal then Iโ€™m not going to throw it away just because the results didnโ€™t happen as fast or which ever excuse I might come up with.

I didnโ€™t want to live the rest of my life, in pain and in and out if the ER because thatโ€™s what was happening. I found something that could work and I kept at it, no matter the taste that I had to get used to with the greens because my body was so acidic but now Iโ€™m no longer sick like I used to be.

Iโ€™ve made it to a place where I thought I could never be. The doctors even told me this was something that I would just have to deal with and if I had just accepted that then I still would have been just dealing with it.

Manga studio changed my career. Donโ€™t give up just because if difficulties. If you want something and are given the tools that can help you achieve that then work towards it and donโ€™t give up! Stay positive, you can do it!

Here is a picture of all of the comic software that Iโ€™ve gathered through out the course of my move from traditional to digital and Iโ€™ve found something that I love and that I plan on sticking with for a very long
time!

  1. a question regarding manga studio should i get manga studio 5 or 5 ex for the more offered screentones and features

    • Iโ€™d personally go with the Ex version but Iโ€™ve never used the 5 edition, my loves been stuck with ex4 and I noticed that a lot of the features that were with ex4 werenโ€™t in ex5. Clip art studio has caught my interest and Iโ€™m thinking about trying out that program, they might still be having a big sale ๐Ÿ˜€
