Hi everyone!! I’m so sorry that I missed updating on Friday but we had such a blast at the Burlington Library Comic Book Convention! I’m so happy that we were able to make it again this year.
I’m usually not able to have my children and husband come with me for comic event because usually they’re far away and so one of us has to stay behind to help babysit but I’m so happy that we were all able to go as a family Saturday!
I need to scan in the picture that adorable Hope drew for me this year, I have it safely tucked away in my cylinder art carrying case. I was also so happy to meet Mr. Onesto and his wife! He’s an art teacher that actually encourages his students to do comic and venture into manga! I definitely didn’t have the fortune to have an art teacher with such an open and positive view on different art forms like that so I totally hope to meet them again! Here are some pictures of my table and the kids having fun at the comic event at the library, we always love traveling down to Burlington because it’s just such a beautiful and artistic city! Next time we’ll have to pause on our admiration of the city long enough to take some pictures to show you all what we mean <3
I can’t wait to go back again next year! I’m sure the kids will have a blast too!
Also the comic has been updated and looking at my deadline schedule for the comic, it looks like I might be finished with all the pages by Labor Day! So for now I’ll say that it is coming soon! The closer I get to finishing it the more I’ll be able to work on getting the next Kickstarter made for Volume 3~
