The webtoon size 800 pixels by 1280 pixels is actually pretty close to the size of a regular 8 inches by 11 inches piece of paper.
Webtoons are actually made up of multiple smaller images stacked on top of each other and you can use free programs like ibispaint, JUMP Paint or Clip Studio Paint (which isn’t free but it’s what I use as well~)
It then appears to look like one love vertical script thanks to the help of the mobile responsive feature of different webtoon comic sites like Webtoon or Tapas.
So if you want to draw your webtoon traditional then an 8×11 which is 2400 x 3000 in pixels making it plenty big enough to fit an evenly spaced webtoon panels of 3 or 4.
Now when it comes to pacing your webtoon panels and story the more panels you have closely together the faster the pacing will feel and vise versa.
So with my webtoon since it’s a rom-com most of my panels are spaced evenly together because of the quick pacing of my jokes.
What should you do next?
