If you’re looking to upload traditionally drawn webtoon onto either LINE Webtoon or Tapas then a helpful tip I can offer is make sure your paper size around 8.3 inches wide and 13.3 inches high.
You can of course work with a paper size that is bigger than that but make sure you at least measure out the paper so that your panels and word ballon fit within 8.3” x 13.3”
The required upload format for LINE webtoon is that your image can be 800 pixels wide and 1280 pixels long. Anything bigger than that and you won’t be able to upload onto LINE Webtoon.
The maximum webtoon file size format for Tapas is 940 pixels by 4000 pixels. Which roughly converts to 9.3” inches wide and 41.6” inches long.
Of course you can draw on smaller sized paper just make sure that it’s no bigger than their maximum image upload size.
How to upload a traditional comic to mobile webtoon?
After you have your webtoon all drawn up on your paper a super basic way to get it uploaded onto LINE Webtoon’s platform is to take a photo of your webtoon.
After you take a photo of your webtoon with your phone you can then go to your internet browser on your phone and type in webtoon’s URL.
After that make sure you select the view desktop option either located on the left of right side of the url.
Once you do that you can create an account and then after your account is created you can now click on the publish button and then upload your webtoon that way.
