i live in SK and i’ve had strangers take pics of me before =.= so creeeeepyyyy
i try to make a point of looking at them as if to say “I KNOW WHAT YOU DID!!!” and like it when they look embarrassed/ashamed heheh. but some ppl have no shame and then i just try to scurry away ㅇㅅㅇ;;
The sad thing is that I don’t even live in south Korea but still get stared at when I go out to eat with my sisters or go other places. Some might not believe me but its true and happens a lot. if I’m in a bad mood I might stare back and look at them up and down then scoff ^^; I have to work on my mood issues. I really don’t like being stared at Q^Q
Ok, so I am way older than U-all! But I remember about 5 years ago around the holidays, I was out grocery shopping with one of my Sis (Walmart). I was chatting and walking. My Sis, was pushing the cart right besides me. I saw this young tall dark bald man coming towards us. He was soooooo..ooo.o fine, so I starred at him and still chatting with my Sis. I know he saw me, but I just couldn’t/didn’t take my eyes off of him (yes I was/am married…, but…) So, he finally smiled at me and …. I ran right into some shelves full of food. I was, well I had to laugh at myself and he said (nicely), yep I saw what just happen. So, I’m guilty. So, always dress pleasant and do your best to look nice so others can enjoy looking at you. Not the perves!
This page reminded me of the time I went to Japan with my friend. Now, mind I’m a big, dark, beautiful woman and my friend is big, blonde and beautiful, but when we were in Japan, we were always stared at. My mentality was “Keep looking cause I know I look good.”
We decided to take the train from Nagoya to Tokyo to go shopping. In the train station, there were a group of people standing off to our side. Next thing I see out the corner of my eye, all of them taking out their phones taking pics of us. WTF. I glance over in their direction and some of them are scrambling to put their phones away. Some of them looked like deer in headlights when I looked at them, but I smiled and kept being me.
It is annoying to have people take pics of you like that because your big and it can do a number on your self-esteem, like Oriana knows. However, I’m glad Oriana is the way she is. Keep up the good work^.^

People staring at me drive me crazy. If I feel it, I peek back. I really want to say “WHAT??? DO I HAVE A GIANT BOOGER ON MY FACE???” Though I admit that I’ve stared, but only because I’m actually spacing out. Once I was standing in line waiting to order food, and was staring off to the side as usual. When I finally came to, it seemed like I was staring at a guy’s butt. There was no one there when I started staring I swear o_O

I’ve spaced out sometimes while at stores or waiting in line and when I come to I’m usually looking towards something embarrassing or end up locking eyes with someone who was in the direction of my daze and it just gets sooo awkward…=.= I think eye contact is just one of those weird and embarrassing things that humans have to deal with.
