See! I’m glad that you typed that because I wasn’t sure if anyone had any experience like this getting lost and then trying to stay calm and getting stared at by bug eyed men =_= I am not alone!! =D
Haha , the guy’s face in the lower right corner box is hilarious ! Like a frog ! XD I have been stared at really hard a lot of times so I just don’t pay them any mind . It’s hard because I want to tell them off but I have learned to control myself and drown their voices or stares out with either my iPod Touch music or my own mind rattling . XD
I usually pull out my phone to play a game or call someone and talk to them to keep myself calm because the last thing I really want to do is get in a petty argument in the check out line of walmart because of people’s staring problems. =_= I don’t like conflict.
Oooohh…. Oriana is so cute! She hiding behind a tree! Or maybe trying to blend into the background. And I totally understand the staring thing. Little kids and babies stare at me like they ain’t ever seen a black person before. I’m like yes–my skin has melanin in it. Thankyou very much. Oh, and can Krissa speak Korean or does she have a translater?
Hahaha! That’s so true and sometimes I might catch these cute babies looking at me and when I look back and they do their cute little baby smile it just makes me smile and makes me want to talk jibber jabber to them to make them laugh <3
Unlike Oriana, Krisa has been keeping up more with her other side of the family so she's fluent in Korean but their Grandfather is also fluent in English so that's how him and Oriana are able to talk to one another. I'll later reveal why Oriana isn't fluent in Korean later in the story when I start introducing more of her family ^^ Thank you for asking~
weeeeell… it’s not like she wouldn’t blend in perfectly… *g* at least she tries…
but I can understand Oriana – my sense of direction is as bad as hers… fortunately I almost never get lost in areas where I can’t understand a single word… ^^”
I think I would probably have a big panic attack if that happened to me in a foreign country. When I was in my sophomore year of high school I had moved to a new town and I use to rid my bike a lot to the library and since I didn’t want to ask my older sister for a ride anymore *because of her road rage and other things* I decided to hop on my bike and go to the store myself and I found it pretty easily but on the way back home I got horribly lost and since the town was still new to me I had to keep myself calm and not freak out because I didn’t have a phone and I didn’t know the area and no one was at home at that time so I don’t think anyone would realize I was missing and my mom also had to do a 2 hour commute back and forth to work so…..it was really scary and stressful but some kind of way I was able to back track and find my way back home ^^;
You did a good job in finding back home, even it took you a while 😉
Unfortunately I never could afford the panic attacks, for two reasons: First: when I was alone I knew there was no use in crying and second: When I was together with others – believe me, most of the times I had the best sense of direction (which, as mentioned above, is bad XD)
So, most of the time I just ask around… as long as you can pronounce the name of your destination it’s not that much of a problem… 🙂 (Well, it worked in France and Norway… I have no idea what I’d do in Korea… ^^”)
I think for just that reason you would probably be the perfect person to take along if any of your friends go traveling to a different country and get lost ^^ I’m more of the panicky type and don’t take well to change but having someone who’s level headed and calm like you makes a world of a difference. ;3
If I panic and get lost in my own country I think I would probably freeze up or break down and bawl like a baby then try to figure out some kind of way to get back home. Woah even thinking about getting lost like that scares me O.O I’m such a big and terrible scardy cat =_= that’s probably why my sisters don’t invite me to a lot of places…..
haha, I guess you are right – this is one of my better sides: I keep calm (one good thing I inherited from my father 😉 ) So, if you need someone to stay calm while getting lost in the city, just take me along (So far I’ve always managed to get home without calling the police or ending up kidnapped *g*).
To be honest, it can be fun to get lost… you get to meet many new people… ^^ Especially in big cities (I’m from Germany, the best perople to ask for directions are retirees or guys who wear heavy metal t-shirts… O.o They look scary, but they really are the nicest and politest persons to ask for directions ^^ Well… at least here in Germany XD)
I might not be able to respond to all comments but I do read and appreciate each one. Thank you for understanding <3Cancel reply
The last panel is so funny.And the creepy guy sitting there staring at her is hilarious. That’s how I act sometimes when I don’t know where I am.

Me either ! I can’t stand conflict but I will try really hard to win an argument if I can . XD
