The top digital mobile tablets that I have on my list for making webtoon comics would be first the iPad Pro because not only is it a more budget friendly alternative to buying a display tablet but the pen to paper feel so natural.
I legit will use it to draw and write out the notes for my webtoon story script all within the notes app or ibispaint app~
My second mobile tablet would be the Samsung Galaxy Tablet and that’s mostly because I currently have a samsung Galaxy s9+ and I’m able to use a generic pen stylus and ibispaint to draw my webtoon on my phone and the pen to paper feel is almost on par with the iPad! So anything samsung is a green light in my book for mobile devices!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
Now on top of the pen to paper feel being so similar to the iPad I also LOVE all of the large selections of comic drawing apps that I can use and are compatible with Samsung Tablets! Of course my top favorite app to use to make webtoons on a tablet would be ibispaint App and it’s so light weight that it doesn’t glitch out while I’m trying to ink in my webtoon panels~ (That’s a big plus for me because I hate laggy systems!)
PLUS the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 comes with an S Pen included!
With my iPad Pro I had to buy my apple pen separately so that was an additional $99 so you have everything you need all within one purchase!~
Okay I should probably calm down a little…Now the reason why I am recommending tablets like an iPad or Samsung Galaxy and not a traditional Wacom digital graphic tablet is because you need a computer in order for a traditional digital graphic tablet to work.
The iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tablet have their own operation systems built in which saves on money because that means you don’t have to buy a whole computer to use it but if you already had a computer on hand then totally go for a $30 Graphic tablet.
Just keep in mind that a graphic tablet is like a fancy mouse pen so you will have to look at your computer screen and not your hand while you draw, unlike with a smart tablet you can draw directly on the touchscreen~
So I want to leave you all with one final note when you’re looking for tablets to use for making webtoon comics I would keep an eye on the RAM of the tablet.
Comic Specific Art Apps like Clip Studio Paint or if you’re using a More Artistic Digital Art App like CoralDraw or Adobe Products tend to use about 4 GB of RAM and to help you avoid your tablet from lagging try to stick to a 16-64GB RAM space if you can pocket that price point.
If you don’t have the budget for a tablet with a lot of RAM space no worries because a 8GB RAM tablet will work just fine, just make sure to not have multiple apps open or running while you have your drawing app open or you might notice that dread lag~
