Wacom graphic tablets are not only great budget friendly and industry favorite brand but mine have lasted for over a decade!
Simply put you can use whatever tablet from wacom or from any brand in that matter and they can still work for years to come!
As long as it has a pen stylus that has a good pressure sensitivity and the tablet is compatible with your art program then you’re good to go!
In my personal opinion there is no one mandatory brand of graphic tablets that you need to create a webtoon or draw a comic.
I started making my comics with a simple sheet of paper and the scanner at the public library or the $30 ones from walmart~
What programs can you use with a graphics tablet?
Back in the day I used to only use photoshop or paint shop pro with my wacom bamboo graphic tablet.
I since have explored lots of other art programs that can also be used with graphic tablets like Wacom or Huion or even on the iPad.

What is a good starter Wacom tablet for drawing comic strips?
When I first got started drawing my webtoon comics digitally the tablet that I used with a graphic tablet from wacom called the Bamboo tablet.
They have since discontinued it but Wacom does have a great starter tablet called the ONE.
Not only is this an inexpensive and light weight tablet but it also comes with a battery free pen and you can connect this drawing tablet to any Mac or PC.
So if you have a laptop with your art apps downloaded on it you can connect this simple drawing tablet and draw anywhere you’d like!
Maybe you’d like to sit down in a cafe and draw….I personally am too much of an introvert to do that, if I did do that then I’d need some headphones to shut out everyone around me…..which kind of defeats the purpose of going out in the first place…..but I digress~
