Tablets that have a 8-10 inch screen size has to hands down be the best and my absolute FAVORITE tablet screen size to draw on because its similar to the size of my sketchbook so it’s super comfortable to hold in my hand and draw on!
Also from my own personal and professional experience of publishing over 5+ webtoons and webcomics since 2010 I feel that the best tablet to use for making webtoons would have to be standalone tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tablet and the iPad.
Now my first reason why I feel these are the two best tablets for webtoon artist to use is because they don’t require me to purchase a whole separate computer in order for me to use them like I would with a graphic tablet or a display tablet, the operation system is already built into them.
Secondly they are super mobile friendly so I don’t have to be stuck to a desk when I want to draw my webtoon, I can just carry my tablet anywhere I want PLUS the 10 inch tablet screen is legit the most comfortable size for me to draw my webtoon on because it’s similar to the size of my sketchbook and easy to hold in my hand to draw.

ALSO there are a lot of FREE and LIGHTWEIGHT comic drawing apps available for tablets that don’t require you to have a heavy horse powered machine in order for to draw within the program without it lagging!
I have a 64GB iPad Pro and I use ibispaint app and the 3D model posing app Magic poser to draw my webtoon and I have no lag issues drawing on the screen at all! It feels like I’m drawing on paper, just super smooth and seamless!
Now one final note why a smart tablet is the best tablet to use is because you can upload your webtoon online without needing to transfer any files to a computer, all you need is your internet browser.
A lot of people try to upload using the webtoon downloadable app but their app doesn’t have that publishing feature yet so you’ll need to use your internet browser and make sure to request the desktop version of their site so you can see the publish button on webtoon platforms.
