If you’re looking for webtoon fonts to use for your comic and you’re not selling or monetizing the comic then you’ll want to look for fonts that have the “Free for personal Usage” license.
First I’m not a lawyer so this isn’t legal advice just something I learned while researching online~
With the commercial font license the creator of the font now has given you permission to use the font they created for commercial use.
Some places where you can find webtoon comic fonts to use would be 1001fonts.com as well as Dafont.com
1001fonts.com as well as Dafont.com have lists of different comic fonts with the available license rights.
So that way you know what font you can use for free and what needs to be purchased for commercial usage.
Another nice feature of their website is that the creators of that font are able to link their site so you can also contact them directly if you have any additional font usage questions.
Nate Piekos has a website called blambot.com where he creates and shares a lot comic fonts for creators to use as well as sells inexpensive licensing rights for commercial use of his fonts.
